The goal was Everett's third power play tally of the game bringing the score in favor of the 'Tips 4-3. Tochkin added his second of the season to increase Everett's lead to 5-3. On a last minute rush Maxwell made a great pass from the boards to Froese in the slot who then hit Tochkin with a backhand pass finding the back of the net at 19:56.

Harper netted his third of the season at 16:34 to make the score 9-3. Chris Francis stopped the nine goal unanswered streak with Portland's fourth of the night at 17:39.
